Forensic Accountant / Senior

About Our Client:

Our client, a leading accounting and advisory firm, is looking for a Forensic Accounting Associate or Senior Associate to join their team of supportive, motivated experts. This full-time position offers a chance to leverage your expertise across diverse forensic engagements, including commercial loss and damage claims, contentious valuations, and insurance events.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain relationships with clients and ensuring that their needs are met
• Gather documents and analyze financial data relevant to disputed issues.
• Perform research and analysis of business, industry, and economic data.
• Contribute to the preparation of forensic accounting reports.
• Carry out analyses and calculations for the valuation process.
• Conduct in-depth reviews and analyses of a business's financial performance.

Requirements:

• Relevant Tertiary degree with an Accounting Major
• CA or equivalent 

Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience in an accounting environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Prior experience with relevant Australian legislation
