Forklift Driver / Storeperson

Your new company
A well recognised organisation that administers quality service delivery throughout Adelaide is looking to add to their team by on-boarding several experienced forklift operators with storeperson experience on the days shift working 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday. The new staff will be located at their distribution centre as part of the day shift at this inner Northern Suburbs location. These positions are a minimum 38 hours a week in ongoing positions so applications are required from candidates with unrestricted work rights in Australia.

Your new role
The forklift / stores role will require competent use of a fork lift (High risk LF licence essential) and experience using a reach truck to undertake general warehouse duties. These will include receiving and dispatching goods, pick-packing, stock control, stock replenishment and general housekeeping in a large team environment. These roles will suit candidates who have experience in fast paced industries who are used to working with speed and accuracy.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidates will be meticulously well organised, possess accurate attention to detail as well as strong numerical skills. Sound computer skills will be an advantage as will the ability to be hands on in your approach as roles will require the picking of items where numerical accuracy coupled with excellent dexterity is required. These roles are required to liaise with both internal and external customers placing an emphasis on a candidate’s ability to communicate effectively as well as present themselves in a professional manner.  Successful applicants will be required to have a recent police check and undertake a drug and alcohol test.
