Form of workWe currently have a full time position available for a Storeman / Forklift Operator based at our Wendouree Depot due to a change in positions.
Candidates must be available to work dayshift Monday to Friday.
Position will involve Forklift Operation, stock control of goods in and goods out and inventory of the CHEP pallets. You will need to be confident in operating a 10tonne forklift.
To be considered for this position you will need:
- MUST have sound knowledge of Ballarat area and surrounds
- Experience in a Freight Transport Depot environment
- Current Forklift License
- Strong Forklift experience essential
- Must be able to load and unload all vehicle sizes
- Must have a strong OH&S focus
- Have excellent presentation and communication as you will liaise with customers and drivers
- Must have warehousing experience
You would be required to undergo site inductions and adhere to all site safety regulations.
You will also be required to undergo a pre - employment medical check including a drug, alcohol and hearing tests.
