Due to business growth we have a fantastic full-time opportunity for a Forklift Operator within our Eastern Creek site.
This will suit someone who enjoys fast paced, energetic environments with a great dedicated and supportive team.
- Operating a counterbalance and high reach.
- Efficiently load / unload trucks and shipping containers.
- Accurate pallet movements in high rise racking.
- RF scanning.
- Hand picking and packing.
- Stock rotation.
- Manual handling (up to 25kg).
- Opening truck curtains and removing gates.
- Ensuring accuracy with all label/dispatch.
- Experience of load restraint, weight distribution and COR.
- Truck licence highly regarded.
About you:
- Current LF Forklift licence.
- Experience of RF scanning systems.
- Former experience within road transport and/or warehousing.
- Experience loading/unloading trailers.
- Understanding of load restraint.
- Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility compliance and legislation (CoR).
- High safety focus.
- Clear understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
- First class attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and team work.
