About the role:
Due to continuous growth, we currently have an opportunity at our Kilsyth Branch for Forklift Operators to join our dynamic team. This role is full-time, reporting to the EWP Manager - VIC.
About the role:
We are looking for immediate start Forklift Operators to work Afternoon Shifts.
Afternoon Shift - 2.00pm - 10.21pm
Monday to Friday at our Kilsyth facility.
A reasonable amount of overtime may be expected during busy periods.
Duties included but not limited to:
- Picking and packing orders
- Operating forklift and machinery safely and efficiently
- Effectively communicate with supervisor on progress and any issues
- Follow company procedures, policies, processes, signage, PPE, and other safety related requirements in place to reduce safety risks
- Report safety risks, incidents, or breaches to Team Leaders and Management
- Use of handheld tablet and minor administrative
- Any other reasonable requests by supervisor and Management
Behavioral Competencies /Expectations:
- Must be physically fit with the ability to undertake manual handling activities
- Must have a Forklift license
- Ability to follow operating procedures
- Ability to follow directions from supervisors and Management
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Basic abilities to read and write, and understand picking slips
- Willingness to learn, improve and adapt
- Ability to understand and perform picking duties using paper and paperless systems (handheld devices)
