We currently have multiple opportunities across the Perth metro store network for qualified Forklift operators to join the Bunnings team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in moving products throughout the store to help our team provide the best experience for our customers.
What's involved:
- Load and unload products using a forklift
- Be responsible for stock management, considering safety aspects when using a forklift, and ensuring a clean and tidy work environment
- Provide our customers with the best experience across the store
- Be part of a supportive and inclusive team who make a difference to the community and have fun along the way
We're looking for team members who are passionate about helping others and are keen to learn and grow. You'll love variety in your day-to-day work, with a focus on forklift operation, inventory management and customer service, whilst also having the opportunity to grow your experience in other areas. A personal interest in D.I.Y. is always a plus, however we will give you all the skills you'll need and show you the ropes.
You'll need:
- A current valid forklift licence
- To be able to approach, connect and confidently interact with customers
- An eagerness to learn about products and services
- To act with integrity, be safe and do your best
- Full Time availability with the ability to work flexible hours (including late nights, early mornings and weekends)
As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete an online chat interview. This will take you just 20 minutes and will need to be completed within 24 hours of submitting your application. Once you've completed it, you'll receive a personality profile which will tell you a little bit more about yourself.
If successful, you will then be invited to complete a video interview. Don't worry, it's only four questions and should take you about 15 minutes to complete.
