The successful candidate will work closely with our team of steel fixers to deliver top-quality results. Your primary duties will include:
1. Formwork Construction:
· Build and set up formwork for reinforced concrete structures, including walls, columns, beams, and slabs.
· Install proprietary and conventional formwork systems in accordance with engineering specifications.
2. Reinforcement Coordination:
· Collaborate with steel fixers to ensure precise placement and secure fixing of steel reinforcement within formwork.
· Assist in aligning steel bars and mesh to meet design and safety standards.
3. Site Preparation and Layout:
· Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to establish accurate formwork layouts.
· Prepare construction sites by measuring, marking, and leveling formwork structures.
4. Quality Assurance and Safety:
· Inspect completed formwork structures for accuracy and quality before pouring concrete.
· Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety standards and company protocols.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Minimum 3 years of experience as a Formwork Carpenter in the construction industry.
· Proficiency in interpreting and working from architectural and engineering drawings.
· Solid understanding of construction materials, tools, and formwork systems.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
