The Foundational Residency program position is a 3-year full time role located at Lismore Base Hospital, with rotation as required to sub-acute services throughout the NNSWLHD.
The Residency Program includes six-month rotations in medical and surgical clinical pharmacy, operational services and a 6-month elective rotation of a chosen specialty. Central to each rotation are the key clinical knowledge and skills objectives that residents are expected to develop plus formal evaluation and performance assessments providing regular feedback guiding professional progression. The development of a professional practice portfolio, completion of a quality improvement project and attendance at annual clinical seminars, facilitated by the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia (SHPA) is an essential component of this role.
If you have:
Current registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia via Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Availability and capacity to participate in a seven day roster which includes all days of the week, including public holidays and the on call Pharmacy service
Experience in the provision of clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting is an advantage
