Position Overview:
Our client is looking for a skilled FP&A Analyst to join their Finance team. The FP&A Analyst will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making within the organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for retail to contribute to the company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
- Analyse financial data and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and trend identification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and assess the financial impact of strategic initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for executive leadership and board meetings.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- CPA/CA Qualified
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the retail industry.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence decision-making.
