We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Close Management: Support the month-end, quarter-end, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Support team members and provide assistance as needed.
- Journal Entries: Prepare and review corporate month-end journal entries,
- Develop and present quarterly management accounts, providing insights on financial movements to local management.
- Collaborate with project teams to update short-term P&L forecasts bi-annually.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis of actual versus forecasts for project entities.
- Produce monthly and quarterly financial monitoring reports for international stakeholders.
- Create and analyse annual budgets and monthly reports for local office costs.
- Complete financial surveys and respond to ad hoc requests from international offices.
- Conduct quarterly impairment reviews in accordance with AASB guidelines.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance reports using Power BI.
- Document and streamline business processes for accounting procedures.
- Develop and maintain procedural manuals and job task documentation.
Skills Required:
- Qualifications: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA/CA qualification preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in FP&A, financial reporting, and analysis. Familiarity with AASB standards and IFRS is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, Power BI, and financial modelling.
- Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities and new challenges.
