Minor DKL Food Group is a leading Australian retail food franchisor and the Australian subsidiary of the Thai-listed Minor International PCL. With brands including The Coffee Club and Coffee Hit, and boasting over 400 stores across 11 countries, our network employs more than 5,000 people.
What is the role?
Our Franchise Business Coaches (FBC) are responsible for driving Franchisee economics and engagement of each store within their network. This FBC role is part of The Coffee Club Network in Victoria and Tasmania.
Being positive, energetic, infectious and strong leaders they build capable and committed Franchise Partners that deliver our Brand Promise and work hard to action Store Plans developed to increase both sales and profitability.
Based in the field, this role works as part of a larger, well-established team, however the nature of the work means the structure of your day is flexible and within your control. The key responsibilities include:
- Drive franchisee economics and engagement through our Operations Visit Cycle Program.
- Develop quality Store Plans to boost sales and profitability.
- Identify outlier stores and implement structured improvement strategies.
- Analyze store performance and devise effective cost-saving measures.
- Manage operational excellence and escalate issues promptly.
- Execute national promotions with excellence.
- Provide workshops and on-the-job coaching to enhance business drivers.
- Foster teamwork and effective communication.
Who are we looking for?
- 2-5 years of similar role experience.
- Hospitality and/or Franchising industry experience is a must.
- Food Safety Supervisor and Responsible Service of Alcohol certifications.
- Previous multi-site management experience preferred.
- Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline are advantageous.
- Knowledge of The Franchise Code of Conduct is desirable.
- Proven coaching abilities
- Has an ability to work autonomously, but enjoys collaborating with others and building relationships
