About the role
South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking an experience Freedom of Information (FOI) Officer advise and assist staff, senior management and members of the public in relation to FOI processes and legislative requirements.
Work collaboratively within the Health Information Services Department amongst fellow FOI officers to service SWH's release of patient information in accordance with internal and external FOI policies and procedures.
Position overview
- Full-time (40 hours per week with Monthly ADO), On-going position
- Warrnambool Campus
- Administrative Worker Grade 3
- Salary Range: $74,448.00 per annum, plus superannuation
What you bring
The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining professional confidentiality and knowledge of the interpretation and application of statutory rules, preferably around FOI.
You will have experience in a similar role processing FOI request, with a significant knowledge of Freedom of Information legislation.
