About the Role:
The APS 4 FOI Action Officer (Labour Hire) will, under direction, assist the team in the coordination of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests made to our Australian Government client and will ensure that they meet their legal obligations in relation to the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth) [FOI Act].
The APS 4 FOI Action Officer (Labour Hire) will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex enquiries.
The successful candidate will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge in areas and may undertake some research and analysis activities.
Duties:
- Prepare and draft a range of materials including data reports, briefing material and correspondence.
- Provide administrative support to develop systems, processes and practical tools including training to support Freedom of Information handling and awareness.
- Assist in preparing statistical reports for senior staff where required.
- Provide administrative access where necessary to relevant local servers, distribution lists and databases to FOI team members.
