Key responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients through regular communication, providing updates on shipments, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Work to understand clients' specific needs and provide tailored logistics solutions to meet those needs.
- Oversee all aspects of import and export operations, including compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods, managing logistics from origin to destination.
- Collaborate with our global team to develop and refine our cross-border supply chain solutions.
- Coordinate with international partners to ensure smooth and efficient logistics operations across borders.
- Handle invoicing and oversee financial transactions related to logistics operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing and reconciliation of accounts.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding
- Proven track record in operations and managing client relationships.
- Strong understanding of import/export logistics, especially in relation to Australia-China trade
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Cargowise and Microsoft Office suite
- Native Chinese language skills are required
- Applicants must be Permanent Resident or have Australian Citizenship.
