SalaryOur client is a well-known Freight Distribution company located at Perth Airport.
Shift Details:
Shift Times: 10:20am - 6:20pm, Monday to Friday
We currently have an opportunity for individuals who are physically fit and keen to work, to join the team as a Freight Handler, at our Perth Airport, WA depot, on a casual basis.
This role will be responsible for:
- Sorting and moving freight including cartons, satchels and parcels into designated bays, cages, and crates.
- Performing repetitive manual handling tasks including lifting heavy and bulky freight items (up to 25kgs at times)
- Reading labels and sorting freight into the correct areas.
- Scanning freight as required.
- Support freight movements from our conveyor system to designated areas.
- Palletising and shrink-wrapping freight.
- General warehouse and housekeeping duties as required.
- Ensure you maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Steel toe cap shoes, & Hi-vis Vest
- Right to work in Australia (Including visas).
- Valid Police Check
- You can accommodate early starts, afternoon, or night shifts with your transport to get to and from work.
- You are capable of lifting and moving parcels up to 25kgs (with two people if needed).
