We have a fantastic opportunity for a French Language Assistant to join Penola Catholic College and work in a fantastic environment, this is a fixed term part time (0.4 FTE) 2 days per week.

As the French Language Assistant you will be responsible for providing expert advice and enrich students’ learning by adding a contemporary linguistic and cultural dimension for both students and teachers.

The Language Assistant will work with the language teachers and College leaders in the preparation and presentation of the school’s language programs. In particular, the focus will be upon producing resources to support the implementation of French CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning).

About You

To be successful you must be fluent in French and English, both orally and written. Being a native French speaker is highly desirable. You will be have experience in creating digital resources and have excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor information and explanations to a range of people. You will have or be willing to obtain a current Working With Children Check and National Police Records Check.

You will also have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
