About the Role
We are looking for a Front Desk/Receptionist to join our team and assist with the day-to-day admin operations of our Kindalin Rouse Hill Centre. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday 10:30 am - 6:30 pm.
Qualities and Daily Responsibilities include:
- Strong communication skills, to meet and greet our families as they arrive at the Centre.
- Answer and manage phone calls and direct them as needed.
- A team player, able to take directions and work with multiple stakeholders
- Assist the Director and Centre Manager as required with tasks as required.
- Ability to assist with creating documents and presentations as required.
- Complete Centre administration as required.
- And, of course, a love of children.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient with computers as well as Microsoft Office software - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Ability to work independently and have excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn and understand software and platforms that are used throughout the organisation, as well as our Kindalin culture.
- Skills to manage multiple tasks in a very busy and people-orientated Centre.
- The successful applicant will require a current Working with Children Check.
- Experience in a Child Care environment is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
