Front of House Management roles - New Venue

Fox Friday is gearing up for our official opening of our Perth Taproom (located in Burswood). Born out of Hobart, Tasmania, we’re a craft brewery known for making hoppy, hazy US-inspired IPA’s and crisp, refreshing pilsners and pales, with more to come with some exciting developments on the horizon. 

In developing our New Venue team, we have various opportunities available for experienced, engaging managers to join our Front of House team, including:

• Assistant Venue Manager (full-time)
• Bar Manager (full-time)
• Duty / Shift Managers (full-time and/or casual)

Experience, skills and knowledge

• previous leadership experience in a food & beverage setting
• additional experience working in a brewery taproom is highly desirable
• supportive approach, with experience in staff development and training
• exceptional customer service skills and positive approach to work
• competent in inventory control, ordering, bar maintenance
• advanced knowledge of, and appreciation for craft beer
• comprehensive understanding of spirit, wine and cocktail service
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
• Current Approved Manager card

Key responsibilities

• assisting in general venue management and supervision, with an initial focus on venue opening preparation, team cohesion, training and development
• ensuring all guests and consumers are being provided an exceptional visitor experience
• developing and contributing to a positive working relationship with the Kitchen team, working together to ensure an efficient, safe and seamless food service experience
• be aware of and ensure compliance, including RSA, Food Safety and WHS standards
• perform general back-end tasks as directed including but not limited to; ordering, inventory control, stocktake, general maintenance, cleaning, rostering and overall process improvement
• support and oversee bookings, as well as special events and functions, as required
