The Organisation
The Events Centre is the leading performing arts centre located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. We engage in programming and partnerships for the benefit of culture, tourism and business, putting audiences, artists and community at the heart of everything we do.
The Role
Reporting to the Events Operations Manager, the Front of House (FOH) Team Leader will work closely with the Food and Beverage Team Leader to ensure that audiences and artists experience a safe and enjoyable performing arts experience at The Events Centre. The FOH Team Leader will act as Duty Manager for performances, overseeing the FOH ushers and supervisors to achieve professional, timely and customer-focused services. This position will also supervise our valued volunteers who welcome our patrons.
The Criteria
We are looking for a creative problem solver with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, and a customer-centric approach. You will need to have previous supervisory experience in a similar role in the arts, hospitality or entertainment industry, and a high degree of flexibility in working hours.
