The Mornington Inn is looking for vibrant and professional Front of House staff to join our team.
We are looking for experienced Wait Staff who are able to work under pressure in a busy restaurant environment, whilst also having fun and engaging with our customers.
We are looking for someone who:
- has at least two years Front of House experience in a similar style, busy, licensed restaurant
- can professionally serve, clear plates/tables and deliver meals
- holds a valid RSA certificate
- is well presented with a good work ethic
- confident, self-motivated with ability to work unsupervised
- is flexible, as you may be rostered on for lunch, dinner or weekend shifts (however we can work the roster around study or other commitments)
We are looking for staff to work long term. The positions we have available would suit a hospitality professional looking for plenty of hours or a university/college student looking to work around study commitments.
We have casual positions available as well as a full-time restaurant manager position for the right candidate. We can offer plenty of hours and an immediate start.
Who we are?
The Mornington Inn, is a family run hotel, averaging 150-180 covers per lunch and dinner with additional 80 seat function room, fully operational sports bar with great happy hours, fully licensed gaming room and accommodation. All previously made locally famous by The Shamrock Hotel our sister venue, located in Hobart CBD. The venue is open 7 days from 8am and our delicious “pub style” meals from 11am daily until 8:30pm.
