The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team. The Front Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the front desk operations, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction, and leading a team of dedicated professionals.

Duties
  • Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the front desk, including check-in/check-out procedures, guest services, and reservations.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate front desk staff to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold resort standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and streamline operations.
  • Monitor room availability and rates to maximize revenue and occupancy.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Manage financial transactions, including cash handling, billing, and accounting procedures.
Skills & Experience
  • 2-3 years experience as a Hotel Receptionist or Duty Manager/Night Auditor
  • An understanding or background in Accounts combined with other experience within the hospitality industry is highly advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of Opera PMS, POS and Interfaces
  • Attention to detail

This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
