As a Front Office Supervisor / AssistantFront Office Manager you will be responsible for the Front Office at RAC Karri Valley Resort which is located in the South West region of WA, approximately 3.5 hours’ drive from Perth and 15 minutes from Pemberton. The resort offers a range of accommodation to suit all travellers, including lakeside rooms, forest chalets, and campsites. The resort is located on the edge of Lake Beedelup and surrounded by Karri trees in the Beedelup National Park.What will you be doing?
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, guests, suppliers, and contractors.
- Help guests / groups of guests with events at the resort.
- Efficiently handle all incoming phone calls and ensure accurate accommodation records.
- Complete check-in processes, assist guests with services and operations, and maintain knowledge of room types, availability, rates, and local attractions.
- Provide professional, efficient, and personalized customer service, resolving complaints and assisting with bookings and special requests.
- Complete bookings, process payments, perform cashiering duties, and ensure accurate account reconciliation.
- Supervise and train Front Office employees, communicate updates, and ensure adherence to service standards and safety practices.
- Oversee department operations, implement new procedures, and manage after-hours call outs and staffing levels.
- Assist the manager in maintaining quality staff levels, setting goals for guest satisfaction, and preparing management reports.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure timely task completion and assist with communication to guests.
- Manage master keys, maintain a clean reception area, and ensure knowledge of property rules and safety procedures.
- Stay informed about daily events, conferences, and activities, and communicate relevant information to team members.
- Conduct shift handovers to ensure completion of member and guest requests.
- Demonstrated experience in a hospitality environment, hotels, accommodation or similar.
- Demonstrated experience or training in a Front Office environment such as reception, switchboard or reservations.
- Experience in supervision of a team.
- Any events experience will be highly regarded.
- Knowledge of relevant legislative requirements impacting on parks and resort operations.
- Knowledge of and ability to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
- A position either offer on a full time or casual basis.
