Job description

An entry requirement for employment with the Australian Defence Force (ADF) is that you must be an Australian citizen. Your role: Every vehicle from 4WDs to tanks and helicopters needs fuel, oil and lubricants in the right quantity, at optimum quality, and in the right place. As a Fuel Specialist you'll be in charge of managing, distributing and storing fuel products, as well as the refuelling itself. You'll work on military bases, on exercises and on deployments, so the job could take you across Australia and even overseas.

Fuel Specialists are employed across most Army locations primarily North QLD, QLD, NSW, SA and the NT. Salary: In the Army you'll get paid a competitive salary from day one regardless of your age, experience or qualifications.

Upon commencing training, your starting salary will be approximately $54,815 per annum plus 16.4% superannuation and your pay will increase as you progress through training. On completion of your initial military training and initial employment training, you could earn $77,451 per annum plus generous super.
