Today, we are offering a great opportunity for a Fuel Tanker Driver to join our team based in Mackay, QLD.
Job Description
Due to current growth, we are recruiting for a fuel delivery driver to join the Liberty team, based in Mackay. As a Fuel Tanker Driver, your responsibilities will be to safely deliver fuel products from local Depots into a mix of regional Liberty customers. - Fuel Tanker Driver/ all rounder
- Work will include an interesting mix of: Farm/Industrial deliveries (Long hose), Retail and Marine deliveries
- Roster: Primary roster will be Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday and occasional 24/7 roster work to fill the gaps
- Vehicle: Primary Single trailer with some limited B Double work
We are looking for drivers who can:
- Work unsupervised
- Neat appearance
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Genuine commitment to safety
- Deliver High-level’s of customer service.
- Must be prepared to engage in any necessary training including inductions

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ heavy vehicle driving experience
- Multi combination (MC) licence is essential
- Road Train experience highly regarded but not essential
- A dangerous Goods licence is highly advantageous but not essential
- Previous experience transporting fuel and lubricants highly advantageous, but not essential
- Ability to load and deliver fuel in compliance to Dangerous Goods Act
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and health practices
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

Successful candidates will need to satisfy our pre – employment checks including drug and alcohol screening, medical checks, driver history report and reference checks.
