We are looking for experienced Heavy-Combination drivers to join our team in Launceston.
About the role
Reporting to the Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of fuel to various customers within the Launceston region, TAS.
This role is rostered as Alternating Day and Night Shifts
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver quality fuels to our customers in Tasmania
- Pre-loading for deliveries
- Perform daily pre-starts on vehicles and equipment
- Manage fatigue and perform log book duties
- Develop, grow and maintain good relationships with our customers
- Ensure safety and compliance is adhered to at all times
- Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instructions
Skills and Experience
- Valid HC licence
- Existing experience as a professional truck driver - fuel experience viewed favourable however not essential
- Dangerous Goods Licence
- SLP License preferred but not necessary
- BFM Statement of Attainment preferred but not necessary
- Excellent driving history - Traffic history report required
- Good customer service skills and focus
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Good numeracy skills
