Our state-of the-art hardware and powerful cloud software allows photographers to offer a comprehensive time-lapse and job-site monitoring service to construction industry clients.
This is a full-time ongoing position based at our Thomastown office. We offer flexible working arrangements to suitable candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Working with a team to design software tools for long term timelapse and services related to images and video.
- Design, develop, code, test and debug software systems using our software stack.
- Test code and designs using automated and manual means.
- Review design requirements and estimate the complexity of tasks.
- Mentor junior developers.
- Stay on the leading edge of development practices, bringing new ideas to the team.
- High level architecture design of software systems.
- Provide top level support for products after deployment.
Requirements
- Proven understanding of software development
- 3+ years Development experience with JavaScript, Vue, Bootstrap and .NET Core C#.
- 3+ years SQL experience, preferably in PostgreSQL.
- Ability to write and maintain automated tests.
- Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, version control. Git, GitHub and Jira preferred.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to enable communication with the team and in the code you work with.
- Ability to work openly in a team both in person and remotely.
- Ability to understand business design requirements and implement accordingly.
- Keen ability to learn new skills, technologies are changing as are the tools we use.
Advantageous experience:
- Experience with C, C++, python and bash
- Linux administration skills or experience.
- Experience with API development and maintenance.
- Experience with container deployments of C# on Linux.
