Role Summary
As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the full lifecycle of our software applications’ development. This role encourages ownership and initiative, as you engage in designing robust front-end interfaces and constructing resilient backend systems. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and optimise front-end and back-end code for high-traffic applications.
- Lead collaborative efforts with the development team to produce and maintain scalable user interfaces, with an emphasis on user engagement and experience.
- Manage database operations, ensuring robustness and efficiency in data handling and storage.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions with meticulous attention to detail.
- Drive the integration of sophisticated front-end UIs with back-end services, optimising for performance and scalability.
- Uphold and advocate for high coding standards, contributing to code reviews and the mentoring of junior developers.
- Proactively stay abreast of, and implement, emerging development tools and technologies.
- Troubleshoot effectively, identifying, and rectifying defects to enhance software reliability and lead problem-solving efforts.
- A tertiary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Full Stack development.
- A comprehensive understanding of web development and design principles across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in managing and utilising database systems, including both SQL and NoSQL options.
- Well-versed in API design and development, with a history of integrating complex systems.
