We have an exciting opportunity for a Mid/Senior Fullstack Developer join our Brisbane team on a permanent basis. As our newest developer, you will be joining an established team of 5 and will provide a valuable input in the execution of our projects.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using modern technologies and frameworks
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Participating in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment
- Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Troubleshooting and debugging application issues to ensure optimal performance and user experience
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually enhance your skills and knowledge
- Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and demonstrating a thorough understanding of development methodologies
- Contributing to documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and system architecture diagrams.
- Providing direction and advice on strategy and architecture of the Infoview solution suite.
Required Skills:
- A degree in Computer Systems, Engineering or IT or relevant experience
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks such as React and Angular, or a strong willingness to learn them
- Strong proficiency in C# language
- Experience with .NET framework for backend development
- Proficiency in ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core for server-side development.
- Extensive knowledge of Entity Framework for ORM (Object-Relational Mapping)
- Solid understanding of SQL for database management
- Ability to work on both frontend and backend aspects of web applications
- Experience in integrating frontend and backend systems
- Thorough understanding of software development principles, design patterns and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for troubleshooting and debugging application issues
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, coupled with a proactive attitude towards learning and taking initiative
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services and architecture.
Optional Skills:
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
- Experience or familiarity with mobile development frameworks such as React Native, Flutter or Ionic will be an advantage.
