Your new role
This newly created role will require you to develop and maintain software solutions to meet business requirements and market needs using both technical and low code technologies. The successful candidate will have sufficient experience and proficiency with web applications, back end databases and have strong background in cybersecurity and automated testing. This role offers the opportunity to build new solutions and maintain and enhance existing applications, collaborate with business analysts, and work with cutting-edge automation using RPA, AI and low-code solutions.
Some of the key duties of this role include
- Design and implement software solutions using a variety of technologies for Frontend and Backend
- Automating workflow using low code solutions
- Maintain existing application written in Java and other technologies
- Work with business analysts to align development with business goals
- Analyse, review and test code for accuracy, performance, and quality
- Perform integrated testing of systems for reliability and security
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing applications
- Build solutions to meet customer needs and based on requirements
- Stay updated with latest software development and tools for front end and back end
- Maintain a regular focus on removing technical debt
- Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development
Ensure high standards of cyber security and safeguard sensitive information
You will have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of Full Stack development experience
- Proficiency in common relational and non-relational database technologies (e.g. Postgres, MariaDB, mongoDB, redis)
- 3+ year experience working with Java backend development
- Familiarity with low code options to develop applications, a bonus
- Proficiency in code repository tools (e.g. git, SVN)
- Proficiency in HTML5, SASS/LESS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with web servers, application servers, microservices and cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably on the Azure ecosystem
- Excellent ability to understand requirements ask questions and align on the ideal solution.
- Experience with communicating and escalating any technical or process related issues that block delivery, aligned to manager guidance
