Our solutions are used by some of the largest companies in the Australian meat and livestock industry, but you won't see our name as we do confidential development for our clients.
We are a leader in our field and have been providing software solutions and services to the meat and livestock industry for more than 25 years.
The role:
The core functions of the role involve:
PHP Development
- Maintenance of existing internal and clientele systems
- Migration of existing systems from PHP 7 to PHP 8
- Migration of existing technology stacks to PHP
Managing a mixture of onsite and cloud infrastructure including
- Development environments and pipelines,
- Backup management,
- Containerisation
- File and mailstore solutions,
- Networking & security
- Domain Management
Project Design & Development
- Working together with clientele, domain experts, business analysts and supporting staff to design tailor-made, advanced and intricate solutions
- Synergize and enahnce your contributions by taking adavantage of a constructive and collaborative environment
- See your design realized and make noticeable changes across to the red-meat industry
Extended development
- We work with a range of other technology stacks and frameworks so the potential to utilize other skills and professionally develop into new technologies is highly regarded

- Project design experience
- Understanding of business requirements, workflow processes, data and reporting requirements
- Innovation and creativity,

- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Embracing of and experience within a collaborative and communicative environment
- Excellent documentation skills
- High level of PHP development experience
- Ability to solve complex problems and work self-directed to achieved outcomes.
- Bachelor of Information Technology, or the equivalent in related work experience.
Highly valued (technical skills):
- Experience managing local and cloud (AWS) hardware and containerisation technologies
- Web related development - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, JSON,
- Vue.js, React, Angular, Flutter (Dart), Ionic, Cordova, R
- Dotnet development C# .NET Core, ASP.NET
- Tools and technology - Node.js, Swagger, AWS, Azure Dev-ops, GIT, Jenkins
- Database technology - MS SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Postgres
