We are seeking Full Stack Software Engineers to join our growing team and help out on some exciting projects.
Projects worked on range from Autonomous Vehicles for Mining, Robotics Devices for Resources, Rugged IoT sensors for Industry, IoT Bicycle Products for Consumers and so much more, all undertaken in-house to extremely high quality within a growing multidisciplinary team.
All Smart Machines and IoT devices need a way to interface with the user, and web technologies are our choice for creating amazing user experiences to give the maximum insights from the systems we create.
We utilize React in JavaScript and morese TypeScript lately for creating web applications to visualise IoT datasets and configuring devices. We are using Python and Django for interfacing with the devices via TCP as well as databases for structured, unstructured and timeseries data.
We are getting thrown crazy projects lately like creation of a 3D visualisation system using Lidar scanning for mining, as well as development of business management software for government departments.
Proof of concepts through to commercial web applications, some having over 100,000 unique monthly users… we get to work with them all.

The Role
We are looking for Full Stack Software Engineers to work with our growing Web Technologies team to create the best possible user experiences, as fast as possible, for our clients.
As part of the role, you will be undertaking the following::
Development and improvement of Web Applications in React
Development of backend server API's in Python Django
End to End continuous integration testing of front ends using Python based tools such as Selenium
Architecture and integration of databases such as PostgreSQL
Custom API development for integrating with third party web services
Packaging and deployment of web services using Docker
Development of scripts for deployment and continuous integration testing using GitLab pipelines

Position Requirements
Successful candidates will possess the following:
Highly motivated team player who lives and breathes cutting edge technology and web software
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Have at least 2 years experience working in a professional software development role, or equivalent extracurricular/personal experience
Proficient in development of Web Applications using React
Proficient in development of Backend Software using Python and preferably Django
Proficient in use of Git
Proficent with working from project management tools such as Jira
Desirable to have experience configuring deployment and testing pipelines using Gitlab or similar technologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Successful candidates MUST:
