Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping others. As a Dental Assistant at Higgins Dental, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Ensure patients are comfortable before, during, and after dental treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Perform laboratory tasks as instructed by the dentist.
- Handle general administrative and clerical duties as needed.
