AddressA small mixed farming operation in the Southern Highlands of NSW is seeking a full-time Farm Hand to commence in mid-June 2024. We are searching for a responsible and reliable team member to assist the resident managers in maintaining and operating this picturesque rural property.
Applicants must possess a current driver's license, as well as demonstrate previous experience in various farm-related duties. Experience in operating zero-turn mowers, chainsaws, brush cutters, and other farm-related power tools and equipment is essential. The applicant will be required to work autonomously at times, as well as part of a team.
We expect applicants to have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of the importance of workplace safety awareness. Familiarity with cattle management practices and the health and well-being of other farm animals would be desirable.
We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, proactive, and possesses a positive attitude. An attractive salary will be negotiated based on experience.
