Full Time Night Manager at SKYE Suites Green Square

We have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on experienced Night Manager to join our very special SKYE family. In this role, you’ll have the responsibility of being the face and voice of our wonderful new hotel. This position plays a critical role in delivering the exceptional and personalised service to all guests from the moment they step foot into the hotel.

We require flexibility as this position will consist of night shifts from 11 PM until 7 AM including weekends and public holidays, and you will be the most senior person on duty representing the General Manager. 

Key responsibilities and duties

• Assisting guest requests in a 5 star service manner
• Coordinate and oversee the running of the hotel, while being the most senior manager in charge
• Maintain a friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude always
• Proactively seek opportunities to create thrilling and memorable guest experiences
• Complete thorough audits of all daily revenue and postings, making the necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy of reporting;
• Post all room charges and daily room revenue;
• Prepare and distribute relevant reports, and maintain the hotel weekly and monthly statistics;
• Ensure accuracy and strict procedures are followed for all transactions, accounting and banking procedures, issuing of keys and guest confidentiality;
• Checking in late night arrivals and settling accounts for early departures;
• Able to work under pressure, deal with tough situations independently and share thorough communications of incidents with the day time team.
• Work solo, with access to Security. 

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

• Previous Front Office experience in a Reception/Night Auditor/ Manager position desirable, although we are employing on attitude not just experience.
• An in-depth understanding of all Front Office operations, standards & procedures
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office products
• Experience with a Property Management System (PMS)
• Full time flexible availability weekdays, weekends & public holidays
• Must have unrestricted eligibility to work in Australia
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Outstanding 5 star presentation & communication skills
• Well organized, with attention to detail
• The ability to easily build rapport with team members and guests is essential
