Who we are:
Regan Brown Occupational Therapy is a well-established private practice providing OT home assessments and OT services for community-based clients clients primarily on the Gold Coast, with opportunities in the Logan regions.
Our OT's prescribe and implement assistive technology/ equipment and home modifications (minor and major). Complete relevant reports and recommendations following home visits.
Our clients are funded through DVA, aged care packages and NDIS - however, the caseload is flexible and work with NDIS clients is not required.
Our current team consists of 4 administration members and 8 OT's. We work collaboratively and are all passionate in providing a level of service that exceeds expectations.
The Role:
We are seeking a full-time (Part-time hours considered) and Locum (12 months minimum) Occupational Therapist to join our mobile and thriving team for Central Gold Coast and Logan Regions. Commencement immediately.
Working hours:
- 36 hour week, flexible with how days are structured
Case Load:
- Assessment of Aged clients (65+) and adult clients with physical disabilities within their home.
Skills Required:
- High level of autonomy to work from home with support offered via phone and video
- Motivation and commitment to work with clients within their unique home environments.
- Client centered approach
- Excellent communications skills
Expectations:
- Travelling via car to complete home assessments, make clinical recommendations and write the relevant documentation/ summary/ reports as required.
- Liaise with service providers/ case managers/ support workers/ other allied health professionals.

Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)
- Current registration with AHPRA (or due to receive registration after graduation)
- Current drivers license
- Current police check
- Appropriate work computer/ laptop and internet.
Beneficial but not required:
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
