Qualifications & experience
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, or relevant role.
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software (simPRO, Xero, Onedrive, Teams, Sharepoint, etc.).
- Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage.
- Applicants with simPRO experience in previous role will be given preference
Tasks & responsibilities
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.).
- Provide administration support to Manufacturing Team, Project Managers, and Senior Management.
- Support timekeeping procedures.
- Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial, and other data.
- Update inventory levels for workshop and job management software via simPRO
- Track stocks of office/printing supplies and place orders when necessary.
- Create invoices and purchase orders in job management software.
- Receipt deliveries and update in job management software.
- Report and follow up on back orders.
- Book freight and deliveries.
