We are currently seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a full-time Dispenser/Optical Assistant. If you’re a self-motivated individual with exceptional customer service skills and a sense of style, we want to hear from you! No optical experience required as all training will be provided on the job.

Job Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet patients with a smile.
- Answer the phone, book appointments, tend to emails, filing and scanning and other administrative duties.
- Assist patients in selecting appropriate frames and sunglasses, considering their visual needs, prescription requirements, and personal style preferences.
- Provide professional advice and recommendations on lens options to optimise vision and enhance the overall eyewear experience.
- Conduct frame adjustments, repairs, and minor maintenance, ensuring optimal fit and comfort for patients.
- Place and track orders for lenses, frames, and other eyewear accessories, coordinating with external suppliers and maintaining inventory control.
- Collaborate effectively with the optometrists, support staff, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and satisfaction.
- Experience is not essential, but preferred.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive and friendly demeanour.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Enjoys the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment and is able to remain calm under pressure.
- Demonstrates a growth mindset and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with Sunix is ideal.

Salary $45K-$55K based on experience.
This is a Full Time position, working Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm, with occasional Saturdays from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
