Full Time Track Rider, Horse Trainer

Alessandra Equine is a boutique pre-training operation based in Balnarring on the Mornington Peninsula. We are looking for a highly experienced Full TimeHorse Trainer/track work rider to join our stable. We have a small team of 16 horses with great facilities on a private property. Position involves riding 6-8 horses/day, swimming and tread-milling, as well as general stable work, and stable Management. We require the applicant to;

• Have a minimum of three years professional experience
• Be capable of training and educating young thoroughbreds, riding timed pace-work and gallops, and manage training programs for horses
• Work in a small team and assist in running the day-to-day operations of our stable

Mon-Sat, 6 am - 12pm. 3 afternoons/week, 4-5pm, and occasional Sundays on a roster. Annual salary of between $73,000 - $80,000 for the successful candidate.
