FULL-TIME CARPENTRY ROLE

Our mission is to only undertake residential and some commercial projects and be the number one construction company in Newcastle.
By doing this we will be expanding our business, up skilling our staff and providing a pathway to future success for the company, employees and contractors.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Position Status: Carpenter
Reporting Relationships: Site Foreman or Managing director
Expected hours of work: Standard hours are a minimum Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm.
Expected Contract Rate: Negotiable, dependent upon demonstrated ability and previous experience.
ROLE
To be able to undertake any building task given to them by the foreman in a positive, efficient and productive manner with pride in workmanship and quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The focus of this position consists of the following areas:
- Turn up to work at the correct time.
- If you need time off, then you must give one week’s notice minimum to the Foreman.
- If you are sick, contact the Foreman before 6:30am.
- Carry out all work as instructed by the Foreman.
- Have you own basic kit of tools and work towards acquiring more tools.
- Ensure that your tools are kept maintained in a good working order so you can produce quality work. I.e.
- If any tools are broken notify the Site Foreman immediately so it can be fixed promptly.
- Fill in your timesheets daily and give to the Site Forman on Friday.
- Make sure that Site is always a Safe Site.
- It is expected that you will endeavour to abide by the Code of Conduct by Futurebuilt.
- Stive towards always producing high quality work in appropriate time frames.
- Have fun, enjoy and be proud of what you achieve in your working day.

Key Performance Indicator’s will be largely assessed by 3 forms:
- Projects & Stages Completed Under Time
- Quality of Work
- Client Feedback
- Peer & Foreman appraisals
