Job description

The Position
To be responsible for the effective and efficient coordination of all events hosted by the Albury Entertainment Centre ensuring the provision of a high level client and visitor experience. The role involves coordinating all events from initial enquiry to confirmation and final reconciliation.

Qualifications & experience 

  • Diploma qualifications in Event Management or equivalent or relevant equivalent experience
  • NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
  • Class C Drivers (standard) licence (compulsory to have and maintain)
  • Relevant experience in the event, entertainment and hospitality industry
  • Relevant experience in event coordination
Tasks & responsibilities 
  • Ensure professional portrayal of the venue through all customer contact.
  • Receive, record and respond to all event enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate events from confirmation to conclusion, including but not limited to hire agreements, risk assessments, reconciliations, security, front of house (FOH) staffing, venue set up, catering, technical and audio visual and communicate even requirements to other venue staff. 
  • Prepare event schedules in the events management system and communicate event details to all staff and relevant contractors.
  • Manage the Venue's booking system.
  • Prepare written evaluations of all events and make recommendations and suggestions for improvement of the management of future events.

Hours
Based on 38 hours per week, working across a 7-day spread, with actual days and times being worked in accordance with facility roster, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO. Hours worked on weekends will attract the appropriate loadings.
