Job description

An Eligibility List (E-List) or talent pool may be created from this recruitment episode to assist in filling future permanent, temporary, or casual full-time and part-time positions.

As the Functional Independent Measurement (FIM) Assessment Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activity related to FIM assessments and education within the Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD)

The successful candidate for this role will act as a FIM change champion who is dedicated to increasing the profile of FIM scoring within CCLHD and to ensure continuous quality data processes are in place.

You will also be responsible for undertaking FIM assessments for patients under the service categories of Rehabilitation and GEM. These FIM assessments will require the FIM Coordinator to assess the baseline function of the patient prior to commencing treatment and then determine functional gains acquired at the end of the treatment period using the FIM tool framework.


About You

  • You possess appropriate tertiary clinical qualifications and current registration with AHPRA (if relevant). That meets training requirements for membership to the Australasian Rehabilitation outcomes Centre (AROC). 
  • You have current FIM/Wee FIM certification or are willing to undertake this upon commencement. 
  • You display demonstrated advanced planning, time management, organisational and reporting skills particularly in the aria of managing multiple tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 1
  • Clinical Midwife Consultant Grade 1 
  • Nurse Manager Grade 1
  • Occupational Therapist Level 4
  • Physiotherapist Level 4
