About The Role:
The Functional Support Officer - Student Academic Records is responsible for the student management system configuration, maintenance and Functional Support services to business stakeholders in relation to system functionality applied to a student record from commencement to completion. This role performs relevant system configuration in the student management systems relating to attendance, resulting and completions. This role is responsible to ensure the correct and compliant attendance, results, withdrawals and completions can be applied to student records.
The Functional Support Officer - Student Academic Records will test and provide Functional Support in relation to any features relevant to direct attendance entry, attendance via events, attendance via integrations, result entry and grading schemes, completion requirements and testamur production. Functional support in relation to these features will be provided to business stakeholders, ensuring agreed SLA's are met in delivery of Functional Support services. Recommendations for process improvements based on testing and service delivery will form part of the role's responsibilities.

• Strong customer service skills and demonstrated experience working with stakeholders across different teams
• Experience working in the education sector, preferably in the VET sector
• Specialist knowledge and skills in student management systems functionality in relation to attendance, resulting/withdrawal and completion administration and the inter-relationships with curriculum, enrolment and other student record related processes.
• Knowledge and experience within VET sector funding contract and other regulatory compliance requirements
• Skills and experience in testing and troubleshooting complex functional requirements for primary and/or secondary student management systems.
• Expertise in analytics relating Student Academic Records and other relevant reference data performance in the student management system(s).
• Experience and skills to respond, track and prioritise user requests in relation to provision of Functional Support pertaining to attendance, resulting, withdrawals, progression and completions.
