Functions and Events Manager - The Bower Tree

The role will include the oversight of allFunctions and Events in The Boldbridge Group’s new venue, 'The Bower Tree'. Our vision is to develop ideas and opportunities into social hospitality hubs that connect and strengthen communities. As the Functions and Events Manager, you will play a vital role in achieving hospitality excellence and creating memorable experiences in our unique and vibrant destination.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and build ongoing relationships and rapport with regular and corporate VIP guests.
- Develop and implement sales plans and Events for the venue, aligning them with the overall business strategy.
- Generate leads through proactive outreach and networking in the events industry and local community.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed business, ensuring maximum revenue opportunities and profitability for the venue's events.
- Maintain an up-to-date and accurate database focusing on identifying new business opportunities.
- Conduct venue site inspections and face-to-face meetings.
- Continue to build, promote and uphold our reputation within the community.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, executive chef, catering, operations, and marketing department.
- Recognize and advise on training needs of function staff in consultation with relevant section managers.
- Work collaboratively as part of the team to meet and exceed targets.
- Plan and execute the details of the event from start to finish, ensuring adequate resources are allocated.
- Consistently meet customers' needs and expectations by providing exceptional levels of customer service.
- Be open to working nights, days, weekends, and early mornings when necessary to accommodate function requirements.
- Minimum 3 years of event or functions coordination experience are essential.
