The role:
The Functions Operation Coordinator is responsible for leading, assisting, and executing all conferences and events from setup through to post-handover email. This role involves working in various Food & Beverage outlets, leading shifts, and actively participating in event servicing. The coordinator will also be responsible for setting up and packing down function rooms according to event orders, maintaining communication with department heads, and ensuring the smooth running of all events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Energize shifts and actively engage in event servicing
- Ensure seamless setup and breakdown of function rooms as per event orders
- Foster open communication with department heads to enhance event execution
- Complete closing tasks with enthusiasm, maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Delight guests with exceptional service, promptly addressing any concerns
- Extend warm welcomes and offer support to event coordinators during events
- Proactively fulfill special event arrangements, exceeding expectations
- Uphold company safety and security standards with enthusiasm
- Anticipate and meet guest needs with a positive attitude.

- Passion for delivering outstanding service is a must!
- Hold a current RSA Certificate
