Qualifications & experience
- ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist
- Bachelor/Masters degree in exercise and sports science or equivalent
- Desirable experience in Mental Health, Autism spectrum and Disability related disorders
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assess exercise interventions for people with acute, sub-acute or chronic medical conditions, injuries and disabilities.
- Create and implement exercise plan and goal settings at clients' Home, Gym and/or Parks, as required.
- Provide clinical support and intervention to patients with a range of health issues
- Conduct functional capacity evaluations where appropriate
- Liaise with other health and medical professionals
- Promote heath and exercise education
- Train and Assist Therapy Assistants where required
- NDIS experience highly desirable
