About the organisation
Doctors for the Environment Australia (DEA) is Australia’s leading medical voice on health and climate.
We are an organisation of medical professionals (medical doctors and medical students) that protect human health through care of the environment. The devastating impacts of climate change on human health and the solutions needed to address this grave threat are a major focus of our work.
Our members recognise that human health and wellbeing require an environment; free of pollution, capable of providing nutritious food, rich in biodiversity, and able to provide for current and future generations sustainably.
