Reporting to the General Manager this role will suit a passionate individual responsible for preparing funeral services, from initial meetings with the family through to liaising with venues, and celebrants.
This role requires a highly motivated individual who is enthusiastic about helping our families ensure the service reflects the life lived.
About you
- Be able to multitask and have the ability to adapt and work in a changeable workplace show empathy and compassion to our clients during a difficult time.
- Be able to participate in an on-call roster & be familiar with our local area.
- Be at ease with death, and the expression of grief.
- Full drivers licence.
- Competent computer skills
- You will also possess great time management skills, be efficient and have great attention to detail and the ability to work within strict deadlines.
What you’ll do
- Arrange and attending funeral service with all necessary training provided
- To welcome customers and establish their needs and recommend appropriate services.
- To be available to meet requests from clients within deadlines.
- Adopting a sensitive approach at all times whilst dealing with enquiries relating to funeral services ensuring that expectations are managed at all times
- To collect all necessary information required to progress the customer’s enquiry.
- Ensure all systems are updated in a timely manner and liaise carefully with the logistics and wider funeral teams when arranging funerals
No experience is required for this entry level position, just a genuine desire for exceptional customer service.
