Due to our expanding services we are seeking a highly motivated, well presented Funeral Director’s Assistant to join our team.
Being a Funeral Director’s Assistant can be a most rewarding and gratifying career; requiring commitment, dedication and pride. The staff member we are seeking will share a vision of providing the best funeral service to our client families. As part of Hobart's only Tasmanian family owned firm there is an expectation you will provide leadership in all aspects of a funeral director's assistant work, incorporating business development, public relations and a high customer service image.
An ability to understand/have an interest in and to learn about Audio and Visual presentations is essential.
Applicants should possess a mature, caring and understanding nature, together with well-developed interpersonal skills. A high standard of presentation and communication is essential.
The successful applicant will have the ability to work within a busy team environment with limited supervision and have excellent time management skills.
This is a casual position, some after hours work will be required and will be remunerated appropriately in accordance with the Funeral Industry Award.
