An opportunity has arisen for a compassionate professional to join the close team at Premier Funerals, based at Oxley to be a casual Funeral Transfer Assistant.
This is a job that requires a special type of person. Applicants will have a mature attitude, possessing compassion and empathy. The role requires exceptional presentation of the business while respectfully transferring deceased into our care. Staff are expected to contribute to the presentation of the business through professional presentation of themselves and the company vehicles and equipment.
Applicants should have the following attributes
- Be well presented, punctual and prepared to assist in all aspects of transferring deceased
- Possess great inter-personal skills, and be sensitive and caring to assist grieving people
- Have the capacity to be at ease with handling deceased persons
- Be capable of performing physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting as required
- This role is for rostered on call weekend and after hours work
- A current QLD driver's license
This is a casual position only with no set hours per week.
Experience within the industry will be well regarded, but not essential. Full training will be provided.
