New opportunities have arisen for compassionate professionals to join the team at Integrity Funerals, on the Gold Coast and Premier Funerals on the Sunshine Coast and Goodna as Funeral Transfer Assistants.
This is a job that requires a special type of person. Applicants will have a mature attitude, possessing compassion and empathy. The role primarily cares for the respectful transfer of deceased with all of the associated tasks relating to these activities. Staff are expected to contribute to the general operation of the business and maintaining the premises, vehicles and working environment.
Experience within the industry will be well regarded, but not essential. Full training will be provided.
Applicants should have the following attributes
- Have the capacity to be at ease with handling deceased persons
- Be capable of performing physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting as required
- Possess great inter-personal skills, and be sensitive and caring to assist grieving people, showing empathy and compassion in all interactions
- Be well presented, punctual and prepared to assist in all areas of the business
- A calm & professional manner
- The positions require availability for rostered weekday, weekend and after hours work
- A current QLD driver's license, your own vehicle for getting to work, and a mobile phone
The positions are casual roles and will require on call for weekdays, evenings and weekends / public holiday.
